Soybeans » Soybeans looking good in Southern Michigan
As I scout the fields in Southern Michigan I am seeing some excellent soybeans. Very encouraging, where we don't have wet holes from this spring. Possibly some of the best top yields we have had for a few years. Average total yield averages because of the early spring water.

Corn » Some of the best, Some of the worst!
We have some of the best corn I think we have had in a few years in Southern Michigan. Probably some of the best top yields we have had. However, a lot of wet holes out there will make for average total yields.

Seeing corn borer damage in NON GMO corn. A return of Giant ragweed near fence borders.

Rice » Shift back to rice?
Yes, rice taking some "clay" bean acres, beans and cotton taking some corn acres. Looks like corn will be 25-50% down, going into corn and some cotton. Year to year profits are catching the rice increase.
